  • My point is that von Brunn is of the unconstrained vision. In his view, society would be wonderful, but the Jews and blacks ruined it. He believes that we could have a utopian future, if only we did away with them.

The so-called "liberal" simply removes the Jews and replaces them with the "religious right". Other "liberals" are openly anti-Semetic, ie Jeremiah Wright.

"Conservatives" have compassion for the poor and the sick, we just deny that anyone can put an end to disease and poverty.

  • Good points. I can tell you have your ability to think still intact.

There's enough finger-pointing going on. It never helps the situation.

That is not how a better world is created.

  • lol who are you trying to hide in the back ground.... it

  • My belief on right wing and left wing is that the right, for the most part, have a high reguard for control. Controlling humans mainly but controlling society, culture, and the monetary system. It is a more base, lesser thinking bunch who think might is right and that the lessers need to be watched. The left is the opposite of those things- they believe in equality and that people will do the right thing given the opportunity to do the right thing. Helping one another out and so forth.

  • that link has beeen removed dude ! wgtX01 its dead.

  • The record clearly shows that Von Brunn was a big Sarah Palin fan. Just check his web site.

  • He was a national socialist not a karl marx socialist. It's so transparent to anyone who understands history in any way.

  • Agreed. Ultimately, von Brunn's politics are just a way for him to intellectualize and justify his psychopathic rage. He is not a serious idealogue, and ought not be treated as one.

  • Sorry for repeating myself, I though my first post didn't get posted.

  • How about Thomas Sowell's concept of a "Conflict of Visions"? Basicially he sees a division between those who have a constrained vision (conservative) and an unconstrained vision (radical).

The constrained vision is the notion that Man is inherently flawed, and that his problems stem from those flaws and no system or ruler can change this.

The unconstrained vision sees Man as good, but corrupted by society or some other villain. If only the right people were in charge, we could have utopia.

  • "Socialism represents the future of the West" - James von Brunn

You are correct that the Left/Right thing doesn't really work anymore. I like Thomas Sowell's concept of a "Conflict of Visions".

Sowell sees politics as being divided between those who have a constrained vision (the notion that Man is flawed and that poverty and crime are caused by flawed choices) and the unconstrained vision (Man is good, but society or "the system" ruins them).
