could make it armor piercing: put a spike in the center of the hollow point, only attached through friction. if it hits a soft target, it would expand like normal, and the spike would prevent the hollow point from getting clogged. if it hits body armor, the round still carries the kinetic energy of a larger round, but splatters on impact, leaving the spike to penetrate.

@grahamusic not everyone who gets shot with one of these is a low-life (in all likelyhood this bullet would be used by said low-life in a mugging). imagine the brutality of the scene if these were used in another school massacre. im all for guns i just think this thing is a little overkill

I'd like to see a real world demo such as thick leather jacket with lining and maybe sweater behind it and some ballistic gel behind that. I know it's a lot to ask for but I would question the penetration aspects of this round and also expansion on some other types of barriers. Seems like all the ammo companies out there would have jumped on this bullet concept if it was all that good.
