I'm gay and don't find it a big deal that he used the fag word. He was born in 1926 and I wouldn't want him tailoring his vocabulary to suit me or anyone. It helps also that he's publicly stated his support for gay rights. For every gay complaining in these comments, there are 46 gay bashers knocking gays for being oh so very touchy. Your fuckers can go to hell. But as for Jerry, he's the King, he can say anything he wants.

He is a comdeian. Comedians make jokes at all groups etc. He caught himself, and didn't finsih the comment. Certtainly he knew it wasn't funny. Fact is, if this is offensive to gays, then why is acceptable in society to for comedians to poke fun at other groups. i.e. Lawyers, ethnic etc.. Basically, I guess we should ask all comdeians to stop teling most of their jokes.
Grant it, it was a pretty bad joke, but he caught himself.
