@Wilmallie .... and now she is in Uganda and Rwanda studying conflict resolution. "Everyone dances" as she reports back to us and she uses Dance as a communication tool when there are no words, engaging children, performing side by side with peers in celebrations. We believe that New Ballet emboldened Estes to understand the performing arts as more than a self interest, but as communication, diplomacy and a way to tear down barriers that separate us.

This is why we support scholarships at New Ballet. Our daughter graduated from the school and now attends UNC Chapel Hill. She had experiences here that will inform her response to the world around her for the rest of her life. It's not just Ballet!
