... an available, decent priced introduction to Canadian Whisky, ... multi-grain distillate designed for a sweet, pleasant rye-kissed Blend. It works well, acceptable for sipping but designed for a CC&7(with 7-Up soda), CC&G (with ginger ale) and as a Manhattan Cocktail (1/3 CC 2/3 Vermouth, crushed ice, shaken,(not stirred) and a cherry on top. (bitters optional)
... lovely.

  • i wish this was my job... getting hammered!

  • @300Spartans1

very very gently, slighty, softly . . . hammered (more of a gentle tapping )

  • I just found an old C.C. just like the one you have there, but i don't know the age of it. Is there any easy way to tell?

  • @kevfromMA

best chance is e-mailing CC direct. It will probably be fairly young if it is a standard bottle.

  • My father has 3 bottle's of Canadian Club whiskey from 1962, 1964 & 1972, and 2 bottle's of Crown Royal from 1968, and 4 bottle's of Seagram's V.O. 1972, I'd tried to get him to crack open at least one of the bottles, but he insists that he's saving them for a special occasion.

  • @Jurkowski1987

for some, the 'special occasion' ends up being their funeral wake ! .... so crack open these bottles while the sun shines !

  • I'm gonna start watching all your vids. Not just becasue it has to do with whisky...but it's also a history lesson as well. I love it. thanks so much!

  • Look up Fastival Express 1970, a bunch of artists (Janis, grateful dead, buddy guy etc.) 6 days on a train across Canada, 3rd day; nothing left in the bar cart so… they raided a liquor store in Saskatoon were they bought a display bottle of Canadian Club… needless to say it was gone in one night.

Anyway keep these reviews coming, they are exceptionally good.

  • @ralfystuff I Definitely agree with you Ralfy, I got my parents a 25 y.o. Ben Nevis for their 25th wedding anniversary after seeing your great review, but I'm hoping my father crack open one of these 50 year old bottles to celebrate in October.
