Mr. Garth Pritchard, a native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has over the years produced some outstanding work on the activities of the Canadian military. He has reported on Canadian defence issues from such places as Somalia, Croatia, Kosovo, and Afghanistan, and his work clearly shows how he has earned the respect of the members of the Canadian Forces. In 2002, in Afghanistan during Operation APPOLO, Mr. Pritchard gained special access to 3PPCLI Battle Group for a period of three months, recording never-before-seen events and accumulating stunning first-hand accounts and images of the war on terrorism. This emotion-laden series comprises Chasing Shadows, Waging Peace, and the very powerful and moving Friendly Fire and offers an exclusive look inside Canadas military and the harsh impact of war. Chasing Shadows and Friendly Fire first aired on History Television on Remembrance Day 2002, and Waging Peace, which aired with the other two in its debut on the same network in January 2003.

  • Any word on where I can find the three episodes of this? I've had trouble finding them to watch or even to buy.

    Thanks for posting.

  • No idea. I luckily downloaded this years ago. I couldn't find anything like it when I did a search. Try contacting History Television? Good luck.

  • @MegaWolfgang hi wolfgang it seems to me that u re name sounds as a german or austrian name but those dead guys are looking for the death .first they have nothing to do in afgahnistan second they are fighting without reason just because that george boolsheet and blair want to do it and all bad guys follow them that s the story

  • Yeah I was wondering why they didn't have desert cammo! While Harper may still be a crooked liar, atleast he actually gave the military SOME proper funding, rather than, you know, actually financing the defense of canada (thats not really a big deal I guess)

Being the first into Assghanistan would certainly have required balls, they were pretty much left alone.

  • @franky30000 What the hell are you yaping about.

  • those peaple seems that they don t know why they fight .they give their lives for other polititians to live at ease near their children and in warm houses and luxury .that s the story . i tell to all the brave soldiers to give up fight innocent peaple that they are far from them mile and miles .get please sense u are just scape goats get awake and looking for the real ennemy good luck

  • Don't they get incredibly hot in all those clothes?

  • sweet video can't wait till I get to basic then infantry.
