@NstintDeath I think it was just because it was a Sonata. They probably never seen too many people that modifiy them. If it was a civic I doubt they would had made a big deal. Next year might be different. I had headers made and installed. Hopefully they will overlook them. If note I kept the original manifolds just in case. Glad I made some vids of the sound of the car. The way I get pulled over for warnings I might have to tone it down. PS: I live in San Antonio!

@TheTexasHitmen the same thing happened with me. I have an 06 lx 3.3 (Weapon R mufflers and high flow cat) and they were all on me for the changes (I live in Houston)

I would like to know if it trips the "check engine" light. Do it still pass inspection or do the overlook the exhaust mods. I replaced the cat with a high flow one and installed a high performance resonator and mufflers and they was all over the changes I made. Note: I passed inspection this time.

No muffler or cat?
That's a lot of lost back pressure.
