A little demo of a pedal I built. A Distortion + clone used as an overdrive on a Marshall JCM900 4100 with TUNGSOL 6l6 STR tubes. Played with a USA Gibson Les Paul Custom Showcase Edition with 81 and 89 EMG pickups

  • hey , when you use it with an already dirty amp does it hum/hiss??

    thanks

  • @darrylportelli All OD's will hiss and feedback if used with the gain maxed out on the amps distortion channel. SO when doing this (if your amp has a lot of gain and you just want to push it a little) Use the OD pedal as a clean booster, Level maxed and just a bit of gain (maybe 9 oclock or 10) Tone to like. This way you'll get the gain boost with controlable feedback .
