am i the only one unimpressed by handheld close-ups moved to grey-scale? there were some good aspects, some really beautiful images; but this is probably the most cliche of all short film subject matter. i understand that i sound like a total dick right now, but i've just seen this same short film made a million times over.

I really enjoyed this film, and found it moving without being sickly or anything and the other comments that have been made are on the spot..really good use of images and the light and dark signally his battle, along with the girl from the TV and the pixels which seemed to suggest his mental state, confused, to close in to see the real things that are worrying him...and i thought the guy put in a understated performace that worked perfectly with the film. all in all and excellent film
This short film manages to capture the mundanity, and in many ways the futility of human life, by exploring the blackest of emotions that can smother and ultimately suffocate the mind. The contrast between light and dark creates the backdrop for the central character's inner conflict. Clever use of a deliberately unsteady camera, together with the haunting soundtrack, provides method behind the sadness. A triumph for the pop video guide to suicide genre.

Really appreciate your comments on the film, and i am glad that some of my reasoning for the film has come through in the style and concept. All your kind words are greatly received, i feel justified in placing the film on here
