Rainbow 1978 Andrea McArdle-Judy Garland changes her name

From the 1977 TV biopic "Rainbow". Andrea McArdle and her sisters get a break and sing at the Oriental Theater with George Jessel. Judy meets up with pal Mickey Rooney and seems to spontaneously decide to go into movies and launches into several choruses of song at various studio auditions. Whatever....thought it would be of interest to those of us who remember watching it a million times on cable TV in the early 1980's! :)

Andrea McArdle is very talented but never should have been cast as Judy Garland. The movie does not work as a result --- what a shame.

LOVE it!!! Judy is Judy (legend) But I love Andrea's voice. I enjoyed this movie... Judy and Andrea are different but for me I loved this movie and it worked me.

what i like about this is that they didn't try to dub andrea's voice with the real judy's voice. andrea has as distinct a voice. so whatever happened to mcardle? was she a one hit wonder in annie?
