http://pixvid.me/InnovationEducation Wheelock College celebrates its 125th year as an innovator in education and social change. This video introduces you to the College's founder, Lucy Wheelock, who was a pioneer in the kindergarten education movement.

Lucy believe strongly in multiculturalism and she traveled the world to learn about the best techniques for educating children. A true leader, she helped bridge the gap between proponents of competing educational theories. Interviews with students--including one who attended Wheelock when Lucy was still president--reveal why she was and continues to be such an inspirational figure.

Lucy's international vision continues as Wheelock prepares to host its first annual International Conference. And Wheelock's growing list of educational programs prepare students to improve the lives of children and families in a wide variety of fields, including education, social work, child life, political science, arts, psychology, juvenile justice, and much more.
