Notice how Peckinpah, revisionist that he was, stages the fight not in a saloon which was typically the place of choice in westerns, but in a Chinese restaurant, of all places.

Actually this is considered Peckinpah's best. Only a small cult following think the Wild Bunch even begins to match this, but that small cult following is comprised 100% of internet posters,so it's easier to tell on the street than on the web which is more popular

This is one of my favorite films and I think it's right up there with The Wild Bunch as Sam Peckinpah's best.
