Levert - Tribute to the Dells!

Levert, (Gerald Levert, Sean Levert and Marc Gordon) pay homage to the ones that came before them......The Dells! In this 1996 clip, they perform two of the Dells classic hits "Oh What A Night" and "Give Your Baby A Standing Ovation" and do a fantastic job!

Sadly, Gerald and Sean Levert have passed on recently, but we still have the music and the memories.

R.I.P. Levert Brothers....you were great! God loves ya!

So sad for the genre of RB, to have a young "Eddie Levert", was rare in this generation. Very few followed in his footsteps... Was so good for our young people... now he's gone ... rip Gerald Levert

CAn you believe both Sean and Gerald are gone? naw. i gotta chance to meet Papa Eddie at the Atlanta Airport last fall, whatta gentleman. The Dells, my all-time favorites. Levert did a nice job here. my first time seeing this tribute. we lost Ron Banks of The Dramatics today. Another legend gone.
