"That thing got a Hemi?"
" Yeah it got an Hemi, but now it got an V-TEC!"
"WTF?"
-
Is it just me, or does the guy who says "I've got to get me one of those!" kind of resemble Dave Grohl?
-
@aylmer666 ????????????? i dont think that helps the battery. its a heater core that goes into your rad hose. kinda like a fish tank heater. that heats up the coolant then that heats the block keepin the oil from getting to thick so your truck(not only for diesels) will crank in the morning.
-
Anyone know the song when the guy pulls out the arctic leash?
-
@aylmer666 NO Man, its for the block wamer for easier cold starts.
-
@aylmer666 actually you're incorrect about why they plug in, diesels are a engine that uses heat to combust instead of spark, and with a cold cylinder they are very hard to start in cold enviroments, what that actually does is runs to a block heater that is mounted in a freeze plug and keeps the coolant warm, which keeps the cylinder warm, it can be -30 degrees and the truck will fire right off. Added benefit is it also keeps oil warm making it flow better and lubricate better in cold inviroment

"that thing got a hemi? no its a diesel" ROFL!!!
-
lmfao!
-
its very usefull. you can heat up the car, melt the ice from the windows and still have a full battery in winter.
-
@aylmer666 No...they plug in there cars so the block heater can warm the oil pan. So you don't try to push an ICE cube through the oil pump lol.
WOH wait a sec, plug in your TRUCK, am i missing something here?

@YTBYlover
In Alaska people plug their cars in to stop the batteries from freezing.
