@coolcruiser1 No, 60 means 2H diesel, 61 denotes 12HT turbo diesel. Some believe it's the best turbo diesel ever made by toyota.
Fairly sure that both HJ60 and HJ61 came in both left and right hand drive, 12v and 24v, but you would have to check that out.
either way, very nice vehicle you have there, i'd love to have one in that condition.

HJ60 has two round headlamps, HJ61 has four square headlamps.

You can always pick the Jap imports. They have the winch mounted on that awfully long and awfully looking front bar

Nice cruiser, i have one like this but the round headlight model. Gota love the cruisers! I realised this one is a right hand drive, normally in the u.s they are le\ft hand drives. Did you get this straight from Japan??

no no, no, HJ61 is the same engine hj60 but.. with out TURBO. Righ hand or left hand, only depend of the country.

I had planned a ride video but never got it done,now the truck is stored for the winter and I am driving a BJ61 Landcruiser Japanese Model.

Is fj61 diesel only or is 61 for left hand drive?
I have an 87' FJ 60...

Thanks,HJ designates the 6 cylinder diesel engine family.I think the 60 number means left hand drive and 61 is right hand drive.
