LOl yes youre right, i was absolutely on the Gardiner expressway..i think i said DVP cuz i had just turned off of it onto the Gardiner so i still had "DVP" in my mind...and yes it is a loud blinker..drives me crazy sometimes.

its not that costly, Toronto annual GDP is around 200 billion dollar. Making a 1billion dollar Burj Dubai type tower for 3-5 years is not very tough for Toronto.. But the question is, whether people are gonna buy the apartments of the building for commericial use.

No not comparing,just that most of the prominent buildings of the Toronto skyline are new additions from the last decade,in my personal opinon shared by many others it does not suck,the CN tower is 35 years old,and replacing the massive structure would be immensley costly and downright ridiculous.
