debunked my ass.. the real speculation is that just 'because the 9/11 commission didn't even ask' what the order was, that "we know that (the stand down order) is pure speculation" in fact, that the 9/11 commission DIDN'T ask such a crucial question should be cause to be suspicious of an intentional cover-up.. THE OFFICIAL STORY IS PURE SPECULATION.

This alleged stand down order is OBVIOUSLY a hugely critical piece of the puzzle.. The fact that the 9/11 commission DIDN'T EVEN ASK what the orders were SHOULD raise some serious suspicions of a cover-up.. not be "proof" that the allegations of a stand down order are purely speculative..

Additionally-

If there was a SHOOT-DOWN order on Flight 77, why werent the surface to air missiles at the pentagon or the White House or any others in Washington D.C. used if F-14s were out of range?

And, why not just scramble fighters from Andrews Air force Base (a mere 2 minutes flight time from Downtown D.C.) rather than Langley? Actually, there are about 4 other scramble-ready bases and airports with fighters that are closer and couldve responded in time! SO Douglas - WE DO KNOW

In the Dec. 4, 2001, town-hall meeting, the President said he didn't begin to make major decisions about the emergency until he was back aboard his plane. "I got on the phone from Air Force One, asking to find out the facts," he said.

So then - When was this shoot-down order regarding flight 77 given!? Being that the order in question was at least in place when flight 77 was STILL 50 MILES OUT it is IMPOSSIBLE that that order was a SHOOT-DOWN ORDER!

3. [9:06] The President is just learning about the second plane hitting the WTC and he stays in the (FL.) classroom reading with the children for at least 10 more minutes.

[9:17] Bush leaves the classroom and gathers with officials in another room. But, the 9/11 Commission later claims that, while Bush is in the holding room, No one in the traveling party had any information that other aircraft were hijacked or missing.
