ESP ltd EC-50 sound test

ESP EC-50

Just a little test of this cheapest of the EC series. I found it to be quite ok. It had 011's on so it was a bit hard to bend and such, but it had a nice chunky sound. The picups were clearly of the simple kind as they had very little harmonics both pinched an natural, but ok for the money. I'd say the Ibanez picups perform better. But it may also be down to picupheight and strings.
For the test I played through a cheap old Zoom 7010 fire hooked up to a pair of cheap PC-speaker. It was on pretty low so you'll hear quite a bit of the acoustic sound of it.

@NFSPlay3r IM not really playing a song, Im just using the same techniqe john petrucci used in the opening of a song on one of the Liquid Tension Experiment albums. If you enjoy insane guitarplaying I highly recommend those albums.

This gtr does have largw frets but that really makes it quite easy to shred since the action can be really low but i can still really dig into it. So dont worry about that. Ibanez shredders have jumbo frets, great for bending.

dude u needa get a new amp or turn it up cuz it dont sound good to me and i got the same guitar and in red and it sounds alot better and heavier to me but it might be the amps what kind u got

My EC-50 has the Zakk Wydle EMG's. Easy fit and makes it an awesome axe. Comfy to play and sounds awesome

I'm thinking in buying one like this(to enter in humbucker mic) and 24 frets..but, there is a way to adapt a tremolo bar to this model of ESP???
