Profound teaching Beth. Once again, you've nailed this concept of inappropriate comparisons and judgement calls. "Get off the teeter-totter! This is not a one-size fits all process," (Bythetimei'mfifty, 2011).

Love this video. My head knows and agrees exactly with what you are saying but sometimes my heart rebels and finds myself still comparing. Something I must battle constantly and not just with regards to wls.

@MsBandtastic It's definitely a work in progress. We are like snowflakes - no two alike - yet we think we are cookie cutters or stamps of everyone else. Someday we'll get it. One day at a time, one work at a time. <3

You seem to be getting a lot out of that program! I need to jump on there but off the damn teeter tooter! Yep! -3 it~one size does not fit all! Didn't we learn that well before WLS!

@electricbanderella I really am getting a lot out of it. It's hard and painful, but also very exciting. Ya know we did learn about getting off the teeter-totter before WLS but each addiction it seems like we have to rediscover it again. Minds are strange creatures aren't they??
