@cme4brain11 I haven't noticed any distortion or vibration from either the screen or speakers and I tend to have my movies fairly loud. I think if the room were bigger I would have probably placed the speakers further apart but it works really well in a room of this size. Have a look at my other video if you'd like to see/hear it all working. Thanks :o)

@cme4brain11 It's not actually an acoustically transparent screen. I've been installing home theatres for customers for almost 9 years now and as I'd fitted a lot of Screenlabs Movie Frame screens I figured I could place the speakers behind the regular material without too much distortion. The amp I'm using also allowed me to calibrate the speakers for the environment using Pioneer's MCACC microphone technology.

I have a question. Does the acoustically transparent screen vibrate when the speakers are turned up loud? What is the material and where did you get it?

Superb use of a small space. I love the screen installation with behind the screen speakers and ambient LED lighting. Were I to re-do my home theater (see my video), I would do what you did.

@39jjfreeman Thanks! :o) The speakers are behind the screen (The flat silver ones) the rears are just over the back of the sofa and the sub is by the door. I work as a salesman/installer for a home cinema store called Leading Edge Concepts - Our details are at the end of the video

Did you install a surround sound system?
Love it! But the blue light surrounding the screen would probably annoy me.... :)

@seansy59 Thanks! I don't really watch anything with the LEDs on. I just thought it would be a cool effect for parties and stuff. They change colour and they're pretty good when I've got a music channel or Blu Ray on. I made a video of it which you can see on my profile
