@YACKACOLA He didn't steal Andre, Andre was already with Vince who booked him in other territories to preserve his special attraction drawing power. The Nasty Boys had long left the AWA and were with WCW before the WWF, and that was right as the AWA was on death's door.

@detchuck I think the AWA was pretty bad too. I remember I could never get them on my TV in the 80's. They were always on the worst channel.

Can't there just be a straight finish in the AWA? Always with the run-ins, DQs, etc., etc,; it gets frustrating.

It's amazing to see the number of wrestlers which Vince Mc Mahon did "steal" from the AWA ; Hogan, Bobby Heenan, André The Giant, The Rockers, The Nasty Boys etc.

The RnR left due to the cold weather and were going to come back in the spring but by then the AWA was a wasteland.
They could have changed the future of the promotion.
