thanks bud, I was using a JVC gy hm-100 with a audio technica AT822
Ive recently changed my audio set-up...check out my new positive lightning video for the results!

Great video and love the thunder sound. Some great strikes in there. You're like me in that I'll get up in the middle of the night as well to film a storm, lol.
