Creepy vid (not your fault) but more remarkable is the sound quality of this demo. I have never heard an unreleased Steely dan demo that sounded this good! Where did it come from - has it ever been officially released as a bonus track or anything like that?

Deputy District Attorney Matt Murphy of Orange County California is asking for the public's help in identifying women, young men, and children in dozens of photos seized when detectives searched a storage locker that Rodney Alcala rented in Seattle. If you know who any of these people are, please contact Huntington Beach police detective Patrick Ellis, at 714-375-5066, or email at pellis@hbpd.org. Images were shot before July 1979.

This version was made in 1971, about 4 years before the final, changed version came out in 1975. It features Flo & Eddie (Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan), the two founding members of The Turtles ("Happy Together"). They sing the backup vocals in this demo version.

off the chain FUNKY, fantastic backing percussion on this cut. LMAO @ your retro photo choices, not too young to be scary pervy, the women remind me of my bachelor uncle's litany of girlfriends in the 70s, they all gave themselves "hippie" names like Fern, Willow, Fawn and Venus. Love it ;.)
