All four puppies tracked down and rescued by GPS technology in Seminole County have been adopted.
The puppies' mother, a stray, caught the attention of the employees at the Seminole County Juvenile Courthouse last fall, and they began to feed her. After she had clearly given birth, they contacted animal control.
They used a GPS ankle bracelet, the same kind worn by people on probation, to track the mother and find her puppies.
"They were 4 weeks old and they had been in the woods, so they had never been handled by people, so they were pretty scared," Mary Beth Lake with Seminole County Animal Control said.
