I'm just saying Ritche heard Led Zeppelin II and saw that he wanted to move Deep Purple in a direction with that style of heavy rock music. You need to take History Of Music classes. @LinkBulletBill what ever bullet head what are u a school teacher are something.ritchie was influenced by artist from like the 50s so was hendrix an page they did'nt invent rock an roll they just took it in to the higher power of pumped up rock no one person invented this thing called HARDROCK u need to study more outside the box like blue cher are do u even know who they are..the who was there before hendrix..hendrix was still small time in 1964 was u therer u like 65 yrs old
