July 3, 2008. N5361N, Piper Archer II, landing on runway 36 at the former Clay County Regional Aiport, now Midwest National Airport (KGPH) in northeastern Kansas City. This flight originated in Lee's Summit, MO (see my other video). Starting the approach high and brining the flaps in early to steepen up the descent a bit. You can see I activated the PAPIs about a third of the way through the approach. The PAPIs are set to a 3.5 degree glide path (half a degree steeper than standard) for this runway due to the gas station near the approach end of the runway you see in the video.
Nice landing man :) I wouldn't like that gas station right under final though lol
