  • 'all negative comments will be removed!!!'

And I was going to leave a really thoughtful, sympathetic comment, before I was enraged by this line.

You're America. You're better than that.

  • @1980dfr MY youtube account is NOT America. The Internet is NOT America. Here I am given the right to delete what I don't find respectful. Most comments that I remove are hateful, racist, ignorant comments, and those I will remove. Free speech is a right in America, but Hate speech is not!

  • @liamstarwatcher Hate speech is part of free speech. If hate speech wasn't, it would be censorship/dictatorship in a democratic society.

  • @PhilSupernova88 To me it seems that Violence, or the risk of it, is a prerequisite of Hate Speech.

  • @1980dfr I don't think it's so much about censoring free speech as it is trying to maintain a little respectful decorum now and then on the internet. There are still countless opportunities for expressing opinions, as every other video or news story on the internet has a comments section that dissolves into the usual predictable back and forth (muslims suck, cops suck, republicans suck, immigrants suck, etc). America will survive if Liamstarwatcher wants to keep the trolls out of this one.

  • It is now more than 10 years later... the emotion is no longer as raw... the time has come to do a proper 9/11 investigation... the one they did was a joke and just fueled conspriacy theories.

    New York deserves this....

  • This video should NEVER be removed.

  • I don't care what he does. He's brave. No one knew whether or not the attacks would continue. He showed true courage. Ten years after, I really think he's fantastic. So good.

  • well done dave! a class act

  • @Chairbrowser60 Soldiers that came home in time for Christmas and New Year were to do with Iraq, not Afghanistan and the retaliation for 9/11. That said I agree with your sentiments about being glad that Bin Laden is no longer alive.

I hope to see the Reflecting Pools myself and pay my respects one day.

  • The piece about Shoto, Montana gets me every time.

  • Thank you for posting this video. We need to commemorate and remember this chapter in American history.
