"Dream Village" is a vision that God gave us than 12 years ago - to be both a community centre and a centre of community - ie a place of revival, restoration and reconciliation.
The Dream Village, in it's fullness will include a church, a conference and training centre, a wedding chapel, childcare, creative arts centre, clinic, counselling centre and more! It will be a place to encourage, equip and empower young people, ie our future, to be world leaders - through the instruction of the Word and the impartation of the Spirit!
The purchase price has been negotiated from RM32 Million to RM28 Million. We hope to raise another RM5 - 6 Million for renovation of the main sanctuary. God has grown Acts Church from 3 young people in 2000 to 700 (including young families now) and we're trusting him for 7,000 within the next 9 years!
In launching this "Building our Future Together" project, our hope is to see believers sow seeds of faith like the lad in John 6 (with the 5 loaves and 2 fish) and experience the multiplication power of the Holy Spirit.
Since our launch day on March 8th, 2009, our young partners have pledged over RM150,000 with teens sowing in as much as RM1,000. We're excited not so much about the amount as we are about the fruit or testimonies that will be accounted to them. One may ask, as Andrew did referring to the 5 loaves and 2 fish in John 6, "but what are these among so many?" But Jesus received it, blessed it and used it to feed over 5,000! We too are believing God for a multiplication miracle as we offer up to Him what we have in our hands!
At the time of writing this, we're trusting God to provide supernaturally before Good Friday, 10th April 2009, the 10% deposit amounting to RM2.8 Million. We also believe that the "mountain" has been removed and God will provide the balance of RM25 Million and more (like the 12 baskets full of fragments in John 6) by or before September!
