  • its cool and all but if i was going to spend the money i would have figured out a shaft drive setup. one of those chains are going to wrap you in the leg one day.

  • @78MNbronco I did consider that, but converting the chain to shaft, turned out to be a bigger problem than expected (keeping the mud/water out of a custom sealed gearbox, and PRICE) and the power transfer with the chain is slightly better. Chain guard in the works!

  • There is alot of shit talkers here that probably don't even ride.

@TeamGorilla - That is one bad ass machine. You got my vote.

  • @monelfunkawitz Thanks man!!

  • do you have any footage of this machine doing a sand hillclimb?

  • @RuralRootsRacing I'll make that happen, keep posted!

  • YEEEEEAAAAAA boyyyy!!!!!! keep it up. fun to watch

  • @monelfunkawitz got my vote to . bad ass

  • nice ride man.. what made you come up w/ this concept?

  • Can i suggest a tire with half width maybe?

  • @TeamGorilla18 well yeah 2x4 on a 400 wouldnt work that well, i was thinking the 600 would have enough balls to get you through anything but i dont really know much, it might add too much weight, i wanna put a cbr600rr in a crf450 frame, it would stick out the sides a bit but i bet it would be a lot of fun to play around on if it was street legal as well

  • @Josh27m Well man I tried the 2x4 thing when it was still a 400ex, but when I would skim at some of the mud rides, it was so muddy getting around I kept getting stuck! and coming off the line in races was just too slow, nothing but wheel spin.... so theres where the 4x4 idea came from!

  • this thing seems like its incredibly low maintenance and really reliable! i bet u would do a lot better with just 2 wheel drive, or just run nobbies on the front, i want one! but 2x4 cuz u really dont need 4x4 ever if u have a 600 in that light of a machine
