If he loved him as he should, he would support his son in anything he wanted to do. It's okay to not approve and disagree, but to completely turn himself away from it is wrong. He said it was too painful for him to deal with and I think he's being selfish.

Man I forgot how idiotic Ashley's father was. I wanted to slap him then and I still do now. I couldn't stand Ikakia from the get go and was happy when Dan replaced him. I still wished they were together though. But sadly they aren't :(

I thought I remembered liking Ikaika when I watched this when it first aired... now I want to roll my eyes practially every time he and his family speaks... and ashley's dad is a total ass, I hope he told him off LONG AGO

4:08 Wow, really? Ikaika sounds so dumb here! "You have to support your family. Even if you don't like what you're doing, you have to do it." He should have told his family to grow the *#&% up and support themselves and stop trying to live off of him. Smh!
