All those space lice in the picture were a bit distracing, made me itch. LOL

Change the title to 'explained' and remove 'overload', erase the bullshit Sereda commentary and you'll have some scientifically interesting NASA footage, nothing more.

ok now we know...what nxt?

@VendPrekmurec The tether incident was filmed in 1996. So.. about the time you were born. Why don't you smoke a bowl and pick up a book. :d

@yugrules "how come the artifacts appear after the tether has broken if they are dust or ice?"
I think people are falling back on the ice/dust explanation because that is what it typically is. The reason why the particles appear after the tether breaks is because the particles are part of the tether that broke, simple as that.

@JustAnotherCrackpot how come the artifacts appear after the tether has broken if they are dust or ice? also if it was dust and ice it would all have to be so close to the camera, meaning that there would be a MASSIVE cloud of dust and ice and hence would be thicker and harder to see into, also considering that, if its so close to the lens there is no way they could move in different directions due to gravity.

@JustAnotherCrackpot arent you just a cute little skeptic :D

@VendPrekmurec Blah blah blah potato blah, quit being a troll and beating a dead meme with a stick, seriously, shut the fuck up.
Lens artifacts and out of focus particles (likely dust or ice) in low earth orbit (i.e. gravity) which explains the trajectory in some. Those who claim these are miles in diameter, I assume you also believe the tether is at least a 1/2 mile wide, right? Sorry, it's thin as a match stick (2-3 mm). And for the going behind the tether part? Read up on optical phenomenon. Moving on.
