甄妮 - 天涯芳草 [012]

天涯芳草 was originally sung by 吳秀珠 in the 1978 movie, "拳王•情人•大律師/愛情大進擊". However, after the movie soundtrack was recorded, the right to the song was passed down to 甄妮 instead. In 1980, 甄妮 recorded this song in the album, "甄妮國語歌曲第二輯". "心のこり" (Roughly Translated to: Remaining Heart or 剩心的人) by 細川たかし (細川貴志) in 1975, was the first Japanese version that became 天涯芳草. In 1978 (before 天涯芳草 was handed down to 甄妮), 盧國沾changed the lyrics into the now Cantonese "明日話今天", which was used in the TV Series, "奮鬥". 慎芝 filled in the Mandarin lyrics.

甄妮 is still singing - she should still be in Hong Kong right now. Her "2010年甄妮愛Farewell演唱會 World Tour" is soon. She's singing in Hong Kong during May 7 - 8.

@Tony09193 Jenny Tseng is now retired, and now she resident in Taiwan Taoyuan county, she bought a farm and grow some vegetable, that farm is open to public, but I heard it has to purchase ticket for visit, and need to reserve before you go.
