  • I was just playing this on an a real c64c, and on a original tape and i noticed the Music in level 2 is different to this version.

If you look at Inputs Review of this game on youtube it has the same music as the original im playing.

  • I don`t know the tapeversion from Midnight Resistance but the original dicsversion have the same sound like in this video.

  • I miss C64 games. I miss amateur creativity.

Damn capitalist game companies. No spirit nothing. I missed Canon Fodder

  • Yep, the amateur creativity in the 80ies was really great. One of the reasons that I think the C64 was one of the greatest computers ever. :) I like later consoles too but the experimentell flair from the first years was perfect on the C64.

  • I completed this game in Amiga. Good job with this magnificient C64 Midnight Resistance. This game is very good with great music and very good gameplay. I think that Special FX on his day made a good job. But I had got the flame thrower in the level 2. It´s a great weapon.

  • Not in the c64 version. The range from the flamethrower is to short in this version.

  • The music in this game was so fucking cool. I prefer it to most modern videogame music. I don't like the orchestral scores they have now. The old stuff was just more catchy.

  • <3 The music to this game so much. Just too epic! Still got this game today! It's my trip to the past.

  • Back when skill was key.

  • I didn't knew about this game, it looks awesome. Sucks that I didn't played it when I was a kid.

Surely looks above the average of a c64 game quality.

  • @Jareth64 So true, i honestly think all video game music should be made with SID chips, FM synthesizers Genesis/Mega drive) , and a fair number of voice channels, such as the Amiga or SNES

  • I had this game... it never worked :(

  • type "Siamese" as your name on the high scores screen for infintie lives ;)

  • High quality game on the C=64, I got the original disk upstairs to play on my 8-bit treasurebox. Midnight Resistance should only be played at midnight. Music volume to the max.

  • Ahhh ive been trying to find out what this game was called for ages, I ALWAYS Died on the tree level. What a game.

  • holy crap you survived the tree, i played with my brother like forever and always died there :D...on the amiga they used to have more plattforms to jump on...and also i missed the 2player mode on the c64 :(

  • I nearly cried as a kid when i found out i can only rescue one of them :) ehm... wait... was ist this game?

  • @lyrklaunavan

true , but i think it was easier to make games on your own back then...
