i know this breed and their genetics and their anatomy like nothing else. I'm world champion, 2 time national champion in colombia, west coast high point award, california state, and oregon state champion. all of these mounted on this breed of horses. so don't reply telling me u know better than how i was raised and learned from vets on site. have a nice day boys.
hey, fuckheads. My grandfather, my father and I have been training horses since were under ten years of age. Paso Fino horses, Trocha Pura horses, Trote y Galope. I was born and raised in colombia in a horse farm with 200 horses in stalls and 400 in fields giving birth every spring. We had our own vets. Our own ferriers. Or own tack and saddlery. My father worked there for thirteen years, where i was raised. and we rode on concrete. and we never had a single problem. so stfu.
@rabidnate he does know how to ride and very well to i might add and the funny thing is that these horses are taught to step hard really hard and live on concrete
@Cytr0gen What does pulling carts have to do with anything?
I was merely saying that a horse shouldn't canter/galope on asfalt. It's bad for the legs. I know they do it so they can hear the beat, but the horse's welfare should be their foremost concern, not the sound!
@rabidnate he doea know how to ride its called trot and gallop (trote y gallope) in colombia the paces of horses are diffrent then in the rest of the world
@Synna89 tell that to the thousands of horses that pull carts all the life span and never get one injury...but i guess your right about ruining the legs there meant for grass but they are riden on asfalt so they can hear the footing of the horse so they know that they are moving at a correct pace

@Cytr0gen How fast they move their legs has got nothing to do with how strong they are.
And yes, thousands of other horses are also on asphalt, but that doesn't make it right!
