For STEREO click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArriYe-U93U&fmt=18

Or type &fmt=18 at the end of the URL at the top of your browser and hit enter.

Hopefully you should then be hearing it in stereo.

Unsigned home studio electronic music (no idea what genre it belongs to) made with Atari, Cubase, Casio FZ-1 sampler, Yamaha DX7, Roland D50 and Novation BassStation Rack.

Back in the days (1993 to 1998) when I was making this music I would always be recording anything that I was watching on tv or listening to on the radio. There was a play on the radio about a man who sensed colours and felt various extreme emotions when he heard sounds - I think there's a name for that phenomenon. So I sampled some of his words and made a piece of music for it.

99% of the music I've made I do myself but on this occasion I had a friend suggesting a few ideas such as the time signature which is 5/4 I think.

I'm putting my music on YouTube so I can get some honest opinions about it and maybe some constructive criticism.

  • @MacDrevi0us it's synchopated 5/4

  • @spikedude55 lmao!

  • @MacDrevi0us Definitely NOT 4/4. Just count the beats on the 5 fingers of your hand. It's not easy to find the first beat of a bar until the high piano comes in at .34 seconds.

  • @rogwinyt It really sounds like 4/4 to me...

  • @MacDrevi0us Maybe it's 5/8 or 10/4. Same thing really. To me anyway. How long is a crotchet (quarter note)? I'm happy with 5/4.

  • @rogwinyt Doesnt sound like 5/4 to me
