Lake Macquarie- SOLO Waste: Richards SCRAP Compactor

Finally, a SCRAP compactor on Youtube. This truck is unique, in that in that it empties bins that are split East West, unlike the traditional North South divided bins. It uses an MJ Rotagrab arm, with forks instead of the grabbers. A water jet on the forks blows the lid open so that the contents is emptyed into to right compartments. This truck has a paddle packer for the bottom compartment, which paper and cardboard are emptyed into and a conveyer belt for the bottles and plastics which are emptyed into the top level.

Real interesting, definitely an ASL I'd like to see more of! Great find, sorry he went so fast! That can be annoying when you don't have a bike!

Yeah, but he was a nice driver though, said it was fine to take vids, he didn't mind. Yeah, it is annoying when they drive off fast. A very, very rare ASL in Australia, sadly I don't know when I will be down at my grandads house, so I don't know when I can get more vids of it.

Hey, we don't necessarily have to know when we can see more, as long as you have a connection with one! BTW, do you or anyone else have any idea what the trucks are like on the western side of Australia? Is there a chance that these are more common there?
