The 28th American Wine & Food Festival Supporting Meals On Wheels Programs of Los Angeles Welcome to the 2010 edition of one of America's premier culinary events. Once again, many of the world's top chefs and wine and spirit purveyors will gather on the beautifully lighted backlot of Universal Studios, Los Angeles, to raise a celebratory glass in support of the Meals On Wheels Programs of Los Angeles. This year, for the first time, the American Wine & Food Festival will host an exclusive festival pre-party, "An Evening on the Beach." This exciting new event will be a truly unique experience, with extraordinary food, specialty cocktails, crackling fires, and music on some of Santa Monica's most sought after sand. On the evening of September 25, 2010, a pantheon of food and beverage stars will exercise their considerable talents for the enjoyment of over 2,700 food and wine enthusiasts. The opportunity to sample exceptional dishes prepared by an internationally acclaimed group of chefs will be accompanied by live music, dancing, and a silent auction. Since its inception in 1982, this Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation event has raised more than $15 million for the Meals On Wheels Programs of Los Angeles, which serve thousands of meals each day to Los Angeles' homebound, senior and disabled citizens. We most cordially invite you to join us in support of a great cause and a most memorable evening.

  • I would have enjoyed filming this video because there's so much potential for great looking and varied footage. Not to mention that being in an environment like this with such a kinetic energy in the air would really assist in my journey as an editor and filmmaker on the post-production side of things for a project like this. Its an awesome location, its not spreadsheets and cubicles, and hell - its probably some fantastic tasting food!

  • Being a wine lover and and supporting charities I believe a video like this can go along way in relaying the message to people worldwide

  • Hands down! This would be my favorite video to work on. I am a total foodie and who doesn't love a great glass of wine to go with it. Looks like tons of wouthwatering fun. Only problem is I would not want to drewl on my camera... :-)

  • This is one tasty piece that I would have loved to work on. The shots are all very well balanced and they visually captured the essence of the 28th American Wine & Food Festival. The food, wine, dancing, and good cause would have made anyone want to be a part of the production team. I currently work with a Chef that trained under Wolfgang Puck and I would have enjoyed meeting him and his delicious food. Slainte!

  • Wish I could have been on set for this shoot. This video made my mouth water. There's nothing I love more than food and using it to help support a great cause like Meals on Wheels. Combine that with my love of video and visual story telling and this kind of shoot makes my heart skip a beat.

  • Style is a simple way of saying complicated things.” - ~Jean Cocteau You captured the "style" of this event so well - it is a gift to tell a story detached from ones personal style. You can have a script but till you are onsite you do not get the energy, soul and personalities which made this video so compelling.

The interviews were perfect because at the end of the day the individuals interviewed will determine how viral this will get.

  • Very nice shots and editing choices. You could almost taste the food and wine simply by viewing. I would have used more than one host though.

  • very nice
