  • Great headstand! You know I've never done it, and would like to try it. What would you recommend for a first timer? i'm afraid of fall or going forward. Where should I put my strength? Thanks!

  • First, try using a wall - it's always nice to know that you don't have to worry about falling.

    If getting up is a problem, try working on the strength you'll need by working it with your feet on the floor.

  • ehh my head stand is really difrenter then urs i hold it with my hands not elbows and hands probaly cause when i break dance i need to do it faster then slow it like that

  • Hi Lilanznkid1, do you mean the headstand with your elbows off the floor, over your wrists, while your hands are on the floor with your palms down? That's a different variation, though we do it as well. Maybe I'll do a video for the many different varieties of headstand?

  • @iSkyttens Your not alone. I landed on my locked fingers and screwed them up badly. I'm done trying this one!

  • God freaking damnit I suck! Been trying for 10 minutes and im sweating like a pig, my neck is hurting like hell and I almost killed myself recently, i got stuck in a positition and couldnt get out lol..

    I can't support with my freaknig arms and lifing my legs like that is impossible..

  • i don't understand what he means by "pushing your shoulders away from the floor", i tried what i thought he meant by this and ended up nearly pitching backwards! this is the problem with my headstand, you know? i need help with my shoulders! anyone have suggestions?
