On 22 February 2010 Bill hosted a debate on the evidence of Global Warming. In this video I address a few of the misrepresentations of the actual science and data involved.

Guys, what was wrong with Fox News on that bit. They had people from both sides come on and talk about it, if anything, be mad at the skeptic, he;s the one with the bad info, not Fox News..

@heatbucspies55 Did you miss the rhetoric Bill was giving at the beginning of the video? They always spew something about global warming that's incorrect.

Combine that with the fact that they always give platform to deniers does not speak well for them. I mention in this video that 97% climatologists say it's real and we are the main cause of it. And Fox news then continues to spew nonsense, sorry that's inexcusable in my book.

Why would joe be considering a forecast even for one specific year to have any argument about global warming. It's not a process that happens in one year.. it's like looking at the DOW for just this year, then putting it next to its lifetime.

@CenaxKikia Indeed. Climate trends are plotted with at least 15 years of data, preferably 30 years (the global means) to get some idea of what is actually happening.

Any meteorologist who seriously contends that climate change is not being driven by human activity is either a crank or in the employment of a corporation with a large CO2 footprint.

It would help if people used the correct term Climate Change. Fux news is a disgrace.

And yes, it's Nye that didn't bring along a big flat screen TV for his presentation. But it's not just that, also the graphs Joe was using were fullscreen, a direct output of what he was displaying behind himself. This is something that raises my eyebrows, something like that rarely happens without permission of the broadcasting company. And it's not a lot of effort on Fox part to display an overlay of the images Nye was using when he holds up those charts (or just zoom in further).

So this is hardly proof for a conspiracy or hoax.

He's talking about the fact that the temporary cooling we observed in 2008/2009 should have been overcome by the CO2 in the atmosphere. He's bemoaning the fact that in his opinion our observation system is inadequate for monitoring the energy flow in our climate system.

Although two other climatologists disagree with him on this.
