"The Hardest Part" and "Death Will Never Conquer"

What a surprise! From the last two LA dates, the band had been performing "Yellow" up in the nosebleeds during their acoustic set. For San Jose, "Yellow" was played as an electric set (aka: album version) and...well yeah, the clip says all. =]

It was wonderful having the chance to see this acoustic performance. And hey, concerts are supposed to be fun. =]

Keep in mind that this footage was recorded primarily for my own enteratainment/memoir-keepsakes. Almost anyone that goes to concerts and chooses to record footage is probably doing the same. I just posted this up to share with my friends and to also share what I experienced. That said, if you don't like what you see or hear, then leave it be. This was never meant to be a professional recording. Otherwise I'd demand money for all that work. =P

The album version of the Hardest Part has multi-layered piano parts and it's way over-produced in my opinion. It can't actually be performed as it sounds live because of that. I prefer this acoustic verssion.

I've noticed this too. Its either straight piano acoustic, or something like this.

I don't know. This song is my favourite coldplay song in terms of musical arrangements. I really wish they would do that right.

I mean its not like we don't know what the chord arrangements are. Anyone can pick up an acoustic guitar and play that song.

But those guitar solo's that Johnny plays throughout that song.... that's what makes it so amazing.
