  • what program did you use to edit the footage kind sir?

  • @DimosDimaresis pls answer , does it have manual focus on it because i now it is not dslr camera its compact

  • @ninja78 If you do not have at least a class 8 sd card, the hd video will lag, because the sd will no be able to write the information to the card fast enough.

  • is it worth to sell my hx1 and buy this one ?? and how about noise ?? hx1 was noisy camera i hope this not ?? and can i use defocus in video or only in images ?? another Q . is cup adapter to 72mm fit on this camera like hx1 ?? sorry for this too much Q

  • @grantsisland no, its not a slr.

  • @Titleification, it's an excellent bridge camera but read about sensors in Wikipedia—bigger, heavier, DSLRs take noticeably sharper pictures; that's your tradeoff. Idiosyncrasies on HX100V include (1) no wall battery charger (so buy cheap on Internet), (2) no turnoff for photo review, (3) expensive battery and class-8 or -10 mem card, (4) fast computer for good video results. Also compare much smaller "little brother" HX9V.

  • The HX100V is a demanding little camera. Its high-def rates and info require class 8 or, better, class 10 memory cards. Your computer needs speed and muscle to handle the videos. If you have the right hardware, KMPlayer is sometimes the smoothest player, or else the tried-&-true VideoLAN or K-Lite.
