Lanny Sinkin may be the reason there have been no major problems at STP nuclear complex since it went online in the late '80s. It was Sinkin that got a U.S. NRC whistleblower to 60 Minutes, an event that brought construction to a halt at Bay City. Sinkin speaks with us about that effort, similarities to the current push to expand operations at STP, and the failure of CPS to offer detailed alternatives.
Solar Panels are better than nuclear, even though they are more costly to manufacture per kilowatt, cause more pollution from the materials that go into construction, generate barely any electricity, depend on intermittent clear skies, and ruin landscapes.
