I'm cool with helping people to the extent that I can. But I would NEVER petition the hammer of the State to legislate your property into anyone else's pocket. That really is the only function that makes a State s State and not just any other firm. That is why we should stop believing in these aggressive coercive monopolies.

At the end of this very episode, Beck does a really funny little sketch making fun of Obama's "Beer Summit." Man, it's too bad Beck is a mormon. He's got a lot of good stuff to say, invites really good guests onto his show, and is just plain funny.

I've actually used the same argument about how the government is actually worse than Madoff because Madoff was all voluntary but the government is force. Nobody listens to me though because I'm just a "selfish teenager." We need more of Yaron and other objectivists on TV to help people realize that we are not our Brother's Keeper. Good segment Glenn.

Great vid. Some really interesting facts.
Thank you for posting this. Yaron Brook is the best intellectual influence that Glenn Beck has. :-)

I like how Dr. Brook always points out the "We are our Brother's keeper" fallacy.
