This video shows the gameplay of Wii game called Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess played on Dolphin emulator. Game seems to be rather playable, requires very powerful CPU to run at full speed, in some areas you can get perfect speeds even with i7 (yes, i7!!). Game randomly crashes at some places, but not that often. Graphics seem to work pretty good, real Wiimote & Nunchuck are functioning.

Software used:

Dolphin SVN R4174
Fraps 2.9.8
Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate

PC specs can be looked at my channel.

  • omg 6:12 SUPER DRAMATIC MUSIC FOR A FISHING ROD!

  • Emulator needs to do a lot more operations, which actually slow down the game a lot. Crysis was originally designed for PC, so all memory requests are straight, while in this case, everything goes through emulator. There will be optimizing soon tho,so no worries :)

  • @nosound97 I second that, dolphin is such a lovely emulator :D i was playing skyward sword with my wiimote haha it is zeh beauty! =)

  • @nosound98 Is there any chance that a pc with intel gma emulate this?

  • @drinkbudyXD Uh, because you can't run HD resolutions on the Wii.

The picture quality is really better. Things in the distance is crystal clear, and the game looks gorgeous (even the GC version). Essentially what a higher resolution does is make the game just look more "clear" in general (generally has nothing to do with texture quality), which Dolphin does extremely well.

Good luck playing this game properly with a Gamepad on the Wii. LOL This is different than playing SMG with a gamepad.

  • @gatygun Yeh, the Wii version is too much for his computer. Not just his computer though, it just doesn't emulate as well as the Gamecube version on any PC. He really should be running the Gamecube version. The difference in video quality from what I can tell seems to be fairly minimal. You can set your settings much higher in he Gamrcube version thus resulting in just as good of quality. At any rate still a pretty neat video for someone who hasn't seen this game yet. :D

  • looks same as wii

  • @drinkbudyXD First of all, I didn't insult anyone, and second, what do you care what people use it for? Just chill out instead of going around treating people like they are idiots.

  • @drinkbudyXD Well, some people buy wii motes simply for the purpose of the emulator, because they prefer not pay high amounts for the console and games. As well, some people prefer the original wii mote controller over a gamepad on an emulator that may use a higher graphics card than a wii console. there are plenty of valid reasons to use a wii mote over a gamepad.

  • lol 12-15 fps = slowmotion :P

  • @MarthGuru you can get a wii mote to use it for the pc if your freekin retarded well thats if u use it just for an emu,the price isnt worth it,buying the whole deal doesn't cost much more
