  • i have a question i caught a iguana and idk what to feed him its a desert iguana arent they herbivores idk wtf to do lol looks juss like the ones in the vid plz help

  • You really should let him go where you caught him -- he's a wild animal. If you want one for a pet you should get one bred and raised in captivity. Then the herp experts could tell you what to feed it, etc. Thanks for watching!

  • Thats really cool. I caught one just south of Phoenix and it puffed up its body.

  • Thanks. That must have been cool to watch! They do have some interesting moves. My more recent vids of the desert iguana are not as washed out as this one.

  • great vid....im coming to arizona on a feild herping trip this summer im hoping to find a few of these guys.

  • thanks -- this is an old one. I have more recent ones that are better and not so washed out. If you come to the desert and don't mind the heat, you should find plenty of them. Unlike most herps, they're out and about during the hottest part of the day. My porohui video was filmed in triple digit temperatures! It was worth it though. I love these guys!

  • I have these all over my yard. My argus monitor just died... the was 20 years old. So Im going to raise a few of these. They're super fast!

  • I saw one of these on the trail to Amboy Crater in the Mojave. Cool Lizard.

  • I used to catch these in the wild to feed to my Cali Kingsnake.
