@RTJaKaL You forget they also have more taxes then just payroll and income tax. There is also the estate tax which makes them tons of money anytime some one dies, property tax, sales tax... This list could go on for about 5 or 6 posts. Actually if you start really getting into the buisness taxes I could turn it into a chapter book. Put simply tax revenue makes the oil industry look like a bunch of bums living in a card board box.

There's no bribing of officials, its all about controlling what people believe. If you can convince the majority of the population of something it is accepted as fact. Nobody will pursue what they think is a scam, so get people to believe something is a scam and you effectively blackball them. Especially since there are so many scams really out there. The best hiding spot is to camouflage something true in the middle of similar lies. It wouldn't be the first time. Lookup Webster Heise Valve.

They make taxes off of end user fuel sales, but even if that was 40.00 a month from you alone, multiply that by the population who also pay that, even if that is only 40 from you, there are others I am sure who pay much more. Not to mention a large portion of the political parties actually own large portions of the oil industry. There are so many facets of the oil industry that are hardwired into those guys, and no bribes, straight up counter-intelligence.

@RTJaKaL Wondering why I ran those numbers for you? Think about it... The government gets the full $400 while they would have to split the $80 with the oil industry. At best they would only get $40 out of it a month from me. While on the other hand they are making easily 10 times as much or more on just my income tax and my employer's payroll tax. Big companies bribe politicians to vote for things that vafor them... They couldn't affored to bribe them to do a large scale cover up.

@RTJaKaL Have you stopped to consider who makes more money? The government gets 20% of my pay check before I even get to look at it. On top of that my employer has to pay another 20% tax on what he paid me. So if I where working even a crappy job that only paid about $1000 per month that is $400 per month the government is making off of me. On the other hand... personally I spend only about $80 a month on gas.

@MrAwsome514 lol, if it was a success you would never hear about it again! and the inventor would probably disappear without a trace. Millions are killed in wars to protect oil interests, this would be dirt cheap by comparison to suppress in that way and it would be naive to think they wouldn't stoop to that.
