The Calgary Zoo has a number of Siberian tigers. In 2007, the matron of the group, Kita, had a cub, so we went to see if we could see the cub.

Alas, the day we visited Kita and the cub wouldn't come out. But Katja, one of Kita's older daughters, was in the enclosure so we got to see her instead!
