  • stupid americans,

in germany i dont pay anything for college, i even get money for doing that. I pay more taxes when i work later, but mostly to a health insurrance which doesnt try to make profit out of me, and a pension which isnt run by mr. madoff

the only thing which keeps america together is the possibility to scam and crab each other.

    God Bless America

its a bummer but facts is, your not a 100% wrong.

But also true is the fact that the vast majority of people are good hard working people that are miss directed and miss lead by terrible national leadership.

  • Colleges are over-priced, and textbook prices are immoral. Some people spend $250 or more on one book. Even used copies can be priced outrageously. I am glad that kindle is putting publishing companies out of business.

  • @craiginzana College is a business! its a fucking lie!! Useless classes! Your gonna need a PhD to work in burger king soon!

  • Most people misunderstand what college is for, to get an education in a subject, not to make money. You can make money with college, but obtaining an education in a field of study is what you get. If you want to make a lot of money, learn how run a successful business, and then learn how to invest. Most people should not go to college, they need a trade or job based certification school, as these are better designed for jobs, and careers, which is why most go.

  • Maybe his argument is valid about business, but I don't see how I could become a chemical engineer without further education.

  • @Bergkristall you should use your college time and go to an exchange semester abroad then u will get what a college degree really costs, there are no study fees in germany, and rich folks are always able to calculate themself poor

  • @n8junge I am from Germany and I think you are lying. We have to pay for college/university, too. And if you or your parents don't pay than you get a student loan or a scholarship. However, nothing is free in this world, not even health insurance, and you will find that out as soon as you finish your degree and go to work (if you get a job). You will see how much money the state will tax you and you will have to pay normal prices for a flat or transport, not reduced prices like students

  • This is so spot on...unfortunately though you really have to address the cause, it is NOT that education is too free as some left-wingers will have you think. People in Europe boast about their education being free but it isn't of course, it's funded through taxes...so yeah you can say oh I don't have to pay jack for education and healthcare but you do because you're being taxed for it...so ultimately it's a question of whether you want to take responsibility for yourself or not.

  • @VanillaSnow23 Yes, invest your money.

  • damn...so.......should i drop out now??

  • @toSTONEiGO huh?
