Unfortunately there was no choice but to throw rocks at the cops. They were blocking off food,water and medical supplies to the workers who were occupying their workplace. The workers inside the factory were suffering from injuries, dehydration and starvation.
Essentially the cops were doing a medieval seige of the factory. The people tried to break through the police line to give food, water and medical supplies to the workers.
