Tolerance for All Californians. Yes on Prop. 8!

Respect for diverse lifestyles and respect for religion requires compromise. Until recently, that balance was kept with the California family code, and Prop. 22. 4 judges destroyed the balance by throwing out Prop. 22, thus creating the need for Prop. 8 to bring tolerance in California back into balance. Restore the California compromise. Vote YES on Prop. 8

Gentlemen, we can do without the accusations, profanity, and disrespect on both sides of this discussion.

The whole point of this video is to illustrate that there can be compromise, tolerance, and respect for each other on both sides. I, for one, believe that we must balance protecting traditional marriage AND protecting domestic partnership rights.

Voting YES on 8 restores the balance that Californians voted for 8 years ago.

So, other people have to practice your religious beliefs (i.e. not marrying someone of the same sex) or they are violating your rights? So, by that logic, we have to constitutionally ban consumption of pork or we are forcing Jewish people to accept that it's okay to eat non-kosher meat. Right?

How can you possibly preach that this is tollerance? You're entitled to have your opinion all you want, but you can't take away mairage rights from two people because of them. Your right to throw punches ends at my face. You can preach against homosexuality all you want but the second you try to pass legislation that infringe on my rights is when your right to do so ends. Why not have tollerance for all mairages?

so your telling me that forcing YOUR idea of what marriage should be and denying other's their BASIC right which IS STATED IN THE CONSTITUTION is tolerance?Guess what? Its not. This is pretty much like putting gays on the back of the bus. You are denying them a pursuit of happiness. If you honestly think that gays being married will ruin marriage then you have not looked at history. There are women being sold for cows and forced into marriage still today. Your religious belifes are not how religion is defined in our state and it shouldnt be. Thats great that you think that your religion defined marriage but it didnt so stop claiming it all to yourself.
